Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint bark, peppermint candy, and peppermint mocha… this season is full of the rich flavor, which is one of our favorite oils at Essence of Pure Living.  Peppermint essential oil works with cooking, flavoring your water or drinks, and as an astringent. Its multi-use functions make it a variable oil and one that won’t go to waste.  Topically you can use peppermint as a zit zapper. Just dab a little onto a Q-tip and onto the spot. Peppermint essential oil has a natural drying effect to skin spots. You can use it orally for a toothache or mouth ulcer. Peppermint is numbing and a powerful digestive.  If you ever deal with indigestion or nausea, you can rub peppermint oil on your abdomen, or flavor your water and the peppermint will ease stomach pain. It has soothing and calming effects. Using peppermint oil in cooking is a fun way to spice up the holiday season. Just add a drop or two while baking or in hot chocolate and you’ll take holiday favorites to the next level.
